Comic Book Cover Concept

My friend is working on a comic book and i've been inking for him this past 6 months. and i was also going to be his cover artist. Concepts and some WIP

This one i thought somthing along the lines of a fast moving creature, but smart, able to communicate at a high level.  I wanted to make them scientists, that due to some sort of chemical they were testing on their home planet, made their species start going nuts. as the bottom image illustrates
